We understand that it’s important to support you getting back to work, and your manager will keep in regular contact with you and explore what support they can provide. There are times when we may need to discuss high absence levels formally and sadly, there may be occasions when ill health prevents you from returning to your role. You can be confident though that whether you’re absent due to a common cold, or a long-term underlying condition, you will be managed fairly and supportively throughout.
