Posted : 08 March 2019

Last night saw the launch of the 2019 Leading Excellence In Healthcare programme and also the graduation of the 2018 Essential Excellence In Healthcare delegates.

Leading Excellence Launch Photo 002.jpgThe night got off to a great start as Katie Lansley, Head of Clinical Leadership and Engagement, welcomed guests and introduced Paula Franklin and Steve Preddy who congratulated the graduates and presented them with their certificates. Neil Gunby, Health Adviser at the Bupa West End Health Clinic in London, was one of the graduates this year. After the event, Neil provided some glowing feedback:

'The Essential Excellence in Healthcare course was a really worthwhile experience. Not only do you get to meet some amazing people, working in all sectors of the business you never knew existed, you are taught valuable skills to help your own personal development. Plus there was a delicious platter of food and beverage on the night which was a lovely gesture to congratulate the graduates and welcome the new Leading Excellence delegates!'

After the graduation ceremony, guests were then invited to networking - with a twist! Cards were handed to guests, each with a different topic that is presenting as a challenge across all business units. Ranging from diversity in the workplace to healthcare innovation and risk management, guests then discussed with one another what their teams do to tackle this challenge in their business unit for the chosen topic on their card.

It was a fantastic exercise and one that brought some very interesting and engaging conversations enabling the guests to learn and share best practices.
