Feedback from 2018 Leading Excellence alumni

Greg Swarbrick, Head of Healthcare Outcome, Bupa UK. 2018 Leading Excellence Graduate says "It was very helpful to have a broad range of experience and skills represented by colleagues on the programme. This became tremendously helpful for our projects which we worked on after most of the formal training had finished –because we could draw on the input and feedback from these many different perspectives to improve our work. The three coaching clinics were really enjoyable – sometimes felt like a group therapy session in the way that they caused us to reflect on our behaviours; and as a group we were able to offer advice to each other about different approaches to real-life practical problems that we might not otherwise have thought about. The emphasis was always on learning and improving – very satisfying."

Paul Appleton, Senior Legal Advisor, Bupa Health & Care Services – "I was initially nervous about taking part in the Essentials course as I work with an operational (legal) team rather than a clinical team and do not have a clinical qualification. However, it was immediately apparent on starting the course that the content is completely relevant and relatable irrespective of what role you are in. The course facilitators were also excellent at encouraging participation and applying the content to each of the wide variety of roles present in the room."

Hot off the press!

We are thrilled to announce that through the apprenticeship levy, we'll be offering five individuals the opportunity to complete a fully funded Master's degree in Leadership, in partnership with Henley Business School.
