Hydration week!

Nutrition and hydration week (12 March 2018 - 18 March 2018) aims to highlight, improve and celebrate improvements in the provision of nutrition and hydration.

Did you know our bodies are made up of nearly two thirds of water? Because of this, it is really important that we are consuming enough fluid to stay hydrated to avoid the risk of fatigue, headaches & dehydration. The amount of water that the body needs can depend on many things, for example; the weather, your activity levels or your age. ‚ÄčThe current daily water intake recommendation is 3.7 litres for men and 2.7 litres for women. For some people this can seem impossible.
